All sixteen housekeeping vacation home lake cabins, villas, and chalets and the beautiful Wildwood lodge face south and are located along a mile of premier wilderness shoreline, making the magnificent setting of River Point Resort-one of the perfect Minnesota lake resorts.

 

 

Finished in knotty pine with beamed and vaulted ceiling, floor to ceiling stone fireplace, and comfortable furnishings, the Wildwood wilderness lodging houses a snack/beverage bar, relaxing T.V. area, video/book library, and our Wolf Den Gift Shop, brimming with souvenirs.

All Minnesota lake cabins, villas, and chalets are set back 30-100 feet from the lakefront and are 75-100 feet apart, with scenic lake views and wooded privacy. It's like having "your own place. . .your own cabin" at the lake.

Four exceptional three bedroom luxury vacation home cabins, the brand new Riverview one bedroom luxury cabin, and the one-and-two bedroom luxury villas have wood-burning fireplaces and knotty pine interiors, plus A/C. The Point Luxury Cabin...this gorgeous one bedroom cabin, just newly remodeld in 2013, has a gas fireplace.

New Chalets (four individual accommodations housed in one large Chalet-like structure) have knotty pine interiors combined with a rich "earth-tone" color palette, along with gas fireplaces and A/C. All other homes and cabins have paneled interiors, except the Log Cabin, which is constructed from natural logs. Hideaway one-bedroom cabin also has A/C.

• All Vacation Home Cabins have bathrooms with a shower: seven accommodations have tubs: five accommodations have two person whirlpools

• Great screened porches on the ten vacation home cabins
• Toweling provided with single night rentals. For longer stays, please bring bath and kitchen toweling, or rent from RPR.
  Towel Set Per Person: Weekly--$9; Daily--$2. Rental includes kitchen towel set and potholders
• Daily linen service not included in accommodations rental
• Guest Laundromat available on-site
• Unparalleled "lake" scenery, complete with park benches and lounging chairs sprinkled along the shoreline

Infant and toddler port-a-cribs are not offered. Please provide you own.

Housekeeping Services

You may desire to have staff tidy up, or totally clean your Minnesota cabin rental while you enjoy your vacation. Housekeeping Service must be reserved when making your reservation. Rates indicated reflect a per day housekeeping fee. Tidy Service: 1-bedroom, $35/day; 2-bedroom, $42/day; 3-bedroom, $48/day. Beds made with existing linens, dishwasher loaded or dishes hand-washed, floors vacuumed, bathroom tidied, wastebaskets emptied. Full Clean Service: 1-bedroom, $55/day, 2-bedroom, $70/day; 3-bedroom, $90/day. Beds made with existing linens. Clean linens, add $5/bed. Dishwasher loaded/or hand-wash, counters cleaned, kitchen floor vacuumed/washed. Livingroom dusted and vacuumed. Bathroom(s) cleaned, floor washed, wastebaskets emptied. Screen porch vacuumed.

Professional Massage Therapy...Relax and Rejuvenate

River Point Resort is pleased to provide our guests an integrated mind and body wellness vacation. Massage sessions occur in Ey-just 10-12 minutes from River Point, and will be scheduled for you upon request.

Massage therapy has the potential to relax the mind and body, as well as invigorate and stimulate. It is the ultimate balancer, bringing peace to a frazzled mind and hurting body. Hourly rates begin at $60, subject to change.

Perfect Reflections

Lodging Rates and all motorized boat rentals are subject to applicable 9.875% MN Sales Tax and Local Tax, and a 6% service fee. The Spring Expedition Fishing Package, Taste of the Northwoods Canoe Trip Package, and Honeymoon/Romance Packages also subject to a 6% service fee. Other rates subject to 6.875% MN Sales Tax. Staff gratuities discretionary.

• A 3-day minimum is preferred on partial week rentals. Single night rentals based on availability, usually in the Chalets.

• We are happy to fulfill specific lodging requests, but attempt to best satisfy specific accommodations occupancy capabilities.

• With the rental of The Point and the Riverview luxury vacation home cabins and all two and three bedroom vacations homes cabins for the time of 6/22-8/9, it is recommended and preferred that a boat with motor is rented for the length of your reservation, unless bringing your own personal motorized watercraft--refer to dockage rates.

Your special wilderness vacation at River Point Resort in Ely, Minnesota comes complete with many guest services and outdoor recreation options. These include a complimentary Naturalist Activity Program with guided hikes into the Boundary Waters; instructional canoe classes; evening wolf-howling, and more. Activity schedule varies weekly. (Please Note: supervised Kid's Adventure Time program for age 4-10 is no longer offered.)

Consider taking a 2-day, 1-night "Taste of the North Woods" Boundary Waters BWCA canoe trip as part of your River Point Resort Holiday. This special package was featured in a recent issue of Midwest Living Magazine--especially great for the adventurous ones in your family or group, and. . .great for gift-giving, too!

There are also complimentary beach watercraft for your enjoyment at the two natural sand beaches: one- and two-person kayaks; paddleboats, children's Rainbow Monster Playground System, and more.

If you enjoy a Minnesota walleye fishing vacation, or if fishing is your outdoor recreation pursuit, your River Point fishing vacation includes a complimentary fishing seminar (early June-mid August), minnow buckets, landing nets, fish cleaning service, and more.

Families love fishing when on vacation at River Point. Take your kids fishing.

Birch Lake and the South Kawishiwi River have walleye, northern pike, small mouth bass, crappie, and bluegill. More...
